I know that the truth hurts--but this is far from the 'brightest' question I have ever seen...
To quote Forrest Gump's Mama, "Stupid is as stupid does," a statement which helped her son through life--though it, in itself, does not make a lot of sense.
Yes, people ask dumb questions on here--and in real life. That doesn't necessarily make them stupid--it could be out of nerves, simply not knowing the answer to something, or just doing a dumb thing (which does not mean that the person is stupid/dumb).
Doing 'stupid' things could be a result of immaturity, inexperience, age, peer pressure, coming from a bad home, having a bad day, having a physical or mental health problem, or for any other number of reasons.
Remember, nobody is perfect--and everybody (no matter how 'smart'), has bad days...
It is in most peoples heart to help and be kind. Stupid is as stupid does and being mean is stupid.
Someday sometimes WE all do stupid things or ask stupid questions. That includes you.
